Exciting One-Day Workshop on Building Chatbots with BotPress

MVGR Student Learning Center (MVGRSLC) conducted a One Day Workshop on how to build your chatbots using the open source tool BotPress on [insert date] This workshop was of special note, as it was organized and given by only the volunteers at the SLC for the SLC, and it was truly an exhibition of their knowledge in respect to technology and education.

Empowering Learning Through Collaboration

The workshop witnessed overwhelming interest from students keen to explore the universe of chatbots, a technology that is revolutionising user engagement in a myriad of contexts. The event underscored the spirit of collaboration that defines MVGRSLC — a place for students to learn and to add value to their learning environment, hand in hand.

Main Speakers: K. Tanooj & Deepak

The workshop was conducted by K. Tanooj and Deepak, who are both engaging volunteers from SLC. Each session they provided had a good mix of theoretical elucidations and real-time applications so that the students were able to understand them and implement them on the go.

  • K Tanooj: Tanooj, someone who has a deep insight of BotPress and what it can do, gave basic understanding of chatbot development to all the participants. He covered all basic concepts, architecture of botpress, and different features that make it compelling to build smart chatbots.
  • Deepak: Continuing from Tanooj´s session, Deepak drilled in the hands-on. Taking a session on Chatbot from scratch tools where he walked the participants through how to build a Chatbot from scratch, the step-by-step with real-time problem-solving tips. His session was very hands-on, and the audience did all the talking.
